Japan Candy Box Monthly Subscription Unboxing

Japan Candy Box Subscription Unboxing for July

We were recently sent the Japan Candy Box July subscription box, which is a monthly subscription box that includes 10 delicious Japanese candies and snacks! This was our first time trying this particular box and despite the fact we’re part-Japanese and frequently eat Japanese snacks, there were tons of goodies we’d never tried before. That doesn’t always happen!

The subscription starts atย $19.90 per month for a single month and is discounted when you subscribe for 6 months or 12 months at a time–shipping is free. You can read more about this box and subscribe on Japan Candy Box’s site!

Check out our unboxing video and then scroll down below for a giveaway Japan Candy Box has offered to our followers.

Ourย July Japan Candy Box Included:

  1. Moringa Mini Angel Pie
  2. Kabaya Watermelon Gummies
  3. Marukawa Frozen Mango Gum
  4. Lion Cola Bottle Candies
  5. Bourbon Sour Lime Marshmallows
  6. Bingis Donut Biscuits
  7. Glico Caplico Mini Ice Cream Snack
  8. Dorayaki Japanese Red Bean Pancake
  9. Kameda Kotsubukko Rice Crackers
  10. Ginbis Edamame Beans Snack

Unfortunately, due to the summer heat some of our snacks arrived melted, but the boys enjoyed trying them anyway as you can see above.

As you can probably tell from our video, the boys really enjoyed this box and everything in it! There were quite a few Japanese treats we’d never come across. For the value of just under $20, these ten snack items were excellent in our opinions, though we were hoping to receive a Japanese candy kit in the mix. However, for us to purchase these goodies while at home in the U.S. (if we could even find the majority of them at our local Asian markets or online) we’d spend much more than the subscription cost even without a kit!

Overall, weย were really happy with this box and would highly recommend it if you’re looking to explore new Japanese goodies.

That would be really cool! You get to try other cultures food and candy and it’s just sort of fun. It’s like having Christmas come once a month. Our family would love something like this.

Aw how fun! We’re part Japanese so it’s always been a part of our family culture, but it can be so hard to get a hold of things in the U.S. sometimes so these boxes are fantastic!

Asia puts such a big emphasis on presentation, it’s always baffled me that the U.S. doesn’t!

I was able to try the Ginbis Edamame Beans Snack, because one of my workmates gave me a small package of it. I loved it, the flavor and seasoning was just right. And of course, it is veggies, so that’s healthy snacking for me. I will try check out the Japan Candy Box subscription and see if it would be available for delivery in my area.

I always loved candy like this when I was a kid. What a fun box to get in the mail. Your kids look like they are enjoying all that sugar! haha! I think I will get one for my boys for Christmas.

Reply
familyadhd July 27, 2017 at 10:11 pm

Yes, they don’t get sugar on the regular so getting to unbox these treats is so fun for them! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Those watermelon gummies sound so delicious! I would love to try those ones out! We have a large Japanese community here and they actually brought a lot of their foods to our local big box grocery store! So we have Pocky here in Canada. My son LOVES it!

Reply
familyadhd August 1, 2017 at 3:38 pm

Yeah, Pocky seem to be one of the Japanese snacks we see most often in other countries! They were one of my favorite childhood snacks before they became more popular in the U.S. <3
